Hi Andrew,
Great to hear from you. I love your site and your work.
Here are the sites we have now. We're currently looking for some land to establish a bioregional Demonstration site and Education center.
Let me know if you have any ideas for marketing our online PDC after you see our sites. Unfortunately, teaching live PDC courses in our region is tough going - because there are so many PDCs here, and it appears that the market for live PDC courses is now quite saturated. As a result, many former Permaculture teachers have gone back to "jobs" and are no longer active teaching Permaculture. This is one reason why we are building a regional center.
Our local guild put together our online PDC with assistance from PRI Australia, but we've not seen much action yet - need some help promoting it worldwide, SEO, better website, etc. If you have any ideas or know some people who are willing to help - we would be happy to entertain the idea of sharing the profits with you or your group - because our goal is to get knowledge of Permaculture out there to as many people as possible, and right now our efforts are going at a snail's pace.
Let me know what you think after you see our sites.
Also, what is your email address?
Take care, and keep in touch,
Enzo

I have approx. 160 acres of high desert woodlands and another almost 160 acres of protected wetlands. The dry land is mostly dusty dead soil in the summer. Some bushes around but mostly second growth lodgepole pine trees. There isn't but about 20', at the most, between high and low elevation of the property.
The Williamson River seasonally flows through my property and I have a 2 island couple acre lake between the wetlands and the forestland.
I appreciate the welcome and look forward to working this land and making it better.
Thanks, that sounds great! Take care,
Ole
Hi Andrew,
Thanks for your kind comments.
This web site is a fantastic community resource, thanks for all your efforts creating it! I especially enjoyed Heiko's new videos and all the wonderful, colorful photos to inspire participation!
Our most recent efforts have been focused on Kailash Ecovillage here in inner SE Portland. We have almost 2 acres of gardens that continue to evolve. Besides our usual gardening projects (45 individual garden plots and a large communally managed area), our new projects are rainwater gardens fed by the main building's 12000 sq ft roof, a solar shower, an outdoor kitchen, and a 65' diameter circular calorie/staples garden that we will be installing this year in the most prominent area of our site. We also hope to add 22 more fruit trees to our orchard this Spring.
We were so fortunate to work with a group from Toby Hemenway's class prepare a concept plan for us 2 years ago as a class project and have incorporated many of the great ideas from it. However, we need to update it since our garden space quintupled with the acquisition of a large vacant field next door. We are wondering if any of your Portland students might be interested in working on this in upcoming classes? Here is a link to our current site plan.
Looking forward to seeing how things continue to develop here!
Warm regards,
Ole
Greetings Andrew,
what is the cost of the online classes, and where do we purchase our materials for class.
please advise,
rafiyqa muhammad
Hi Andrew...special request of you for the class next week. I am registered and fully paid up. However, I may not be able to attend the entire class, I have meetings outside of Corvallis...may I offer my seat to an 'alternate' that has agreed to take copious notes in exchange for attending under my paid fee? Thank you for your consideration.
