- Why do you want to join this network?
- I am a gardener, a master gardener, composter and pruner, and I have gardened professionally on estates and small properties and have built large herb gardens, since 1982. I have studied herbology, and worked with herbologists. I have vegetable gardened using organic methods for 9 years, in Eugene, and worked at many nurseries in the area. I am presently working with Charlotte Anthony and Victory Gardens for All as a team member, and have helped put in gardens for low income families, etc. But with all this background, I feel have so much to learn about the earth, the natural landsscape and the production of food, since I found out about permaculture and forest gardening. I have put together the victorygardensforall.org website, to share with others, the excitement we feel as we learn and develope our skills and look forward to the time that we can begin building forest gardens here in Eugene, for those who want to farm the land in a more responsible creative way.
