Yeah, that's pretty much what the websites I looked at said about them. Not sure if they will be appropriate for what I want to do yet, but I have another option now.
The Paulownias took a lot of water to get established at first, but have probably been off of irrigation for 7 years or so. That is also a deep alluvial soil deposit with more shallow groundwater than most places, so choosing the right microclimate is important in growing those trees. I was surprised that they are still there and doing well!
Pretty cool Andrew, thanks for sharing! I never heard of Paulownia trees before. Surprising how fast they grow in that environment. Now I gotta go research them! I've seen pretty much all of Brad Lancaster's videos before, great job he did there.
